Margins: Q2 adjusted segment EBITDA margin of 27.6% beat expectations, helped by price, cost reductions, and mix, and Emerson still expects about 28% for the full year.
Software: Software annual contract value grew 9% to $1.64 billion, and management continues to expect ACV growth of 10% plus for 2026 despite a renewal-related headwind in the first half.
AI and projects: Management said AI features are drawing strong customer interest but are too early to move revenue meaningfully this year; the project funnel grew to $11.2 billion, driven by power and other growth verticals.
