A few things to know.

Yes. An active Unlimited plan is required to authorize a connection and use the valuation tools. You can read these setup instructions before subscribing. Your assistant’s own plan and usage limits apply separately.

Make sure your assistant is up to date and you are using the setup surface described above. ChatGPT requires Developer mode on a supported plan. In a managed workspace, ask your administrator or owner to enable custom connections.

Check that Alpha Spread is enabled for the current conversation. Start your request with “Use Alpha Spread” and ask for a valuation. If the connection needs authentication, reconnect it in your assistant’s settings.

The connection provides intrinsic value estimates, current DCF valuations, and valuation multiples for supported stocks. It does not provide standalone financial statements, price history, or your personal portfolios and watchlists.

Yes. Choose Change account on the Alpha Spread authorization screen. If already connected, disconnect the app in Connected Apps, then connect again with the account you want to use.

Yes, if it supports remote MCP over Streamable HTTP and OAuth authentication with dynamic client registration. Use the same server URL and follow that assistant’s setup instructions.

No. The connection can only read valuations. It cannot change your account, portfolios, or watchlists. You can remove access at any time in Connected Apps.
