The firm develops and manufactures innovative and environmentally friendly hydraulic solutions for the needs of the forest machinery, material handling, mining, construction equipment and marine industries, among others. Norrhydro offers environmentally friendly motion control solutions for mobile machinery as well as competitive advantage for its customers through energy efficiency. The firm is divided into five segments: Forestry, Material Handling, Construction Equipment, Mining and Marine & Offshore. Norrhydro has developed the digital hydraulic actuator NorrDigi in cooperation with Volvo CE. The system increases productivity and at the same time significantly reduces fuel costs and CO2 emissions in earthmoving machines.
