Flex Ltd
Flex Ltd is a contract manufacturer and supply-chain partner that helps other companies design, build, and deliver products. It makes electronics, assemblies, and finished goods for customers in areas like technology, healthcare, industrial equipment, automotive, and consumer devices. In simple terms, Flex sits behind the scenes of the product chain, turning a customer’s design into something that can be sourced, assembled, tested, and shipped at scale. The company earns money by charging customers for engineering, manufacturing, assembly, logistics, and after-sales support. It also helps clients manage sourcing parts, moving inventory, and setting up production in different regions. Because many customers do not want to own all of that infrastructure themselves, Flex acts as an outsourced manufacturing and operations partner. What makes Flex different is that it is not just a factory operator. It often gets involved early in the product lifecycle, helping with design-for-manufacturing, component sourcing, and supply-chain planning before a product reaches market. That makes it a useful middleman between brand owners and the global network of component suppliers, factories, and distributors.
