Check Point Software Technologies Ltd
Check Point Software Technologies makes cybersecurity products that help companies protect networks, devices, cloud systems, and remote users from hacking and data theft. Its core products include firewalls, threat-prevention software, endpoint security, and cloud security tools that sit at key points in a customer’s IT environment and inspect traffic and activity for attacks. Its main customers are businesses, public-sector organizations, and service providers that need to defend corporate networks and user access. Check Point sells through software licenses, subscriptions, support contracts, and security appliances, so it earns money when customers buy the products upfront and then keep paying for updates, threat intelligence, and ongoing protection. What makes Check Point’s business model distinct is that it sits in a critical layer of cybersecurity infrastructure rather than a single app or niche tool. It is strongest where security must be enforced consistently across firewalls, endpoints, and cloud workloads, which makes it a long-term vendor for organizations that want one set of tools to monitor and block threats across many parts of their environment.

Q2 in line: Check Point said second-quarter results were in line with expectations, with total revenue of $674 million and non-GAAP EPS of $2.55 beating guidance.
Mixed demand: Subscription revenue grew 12% year over year, helped by emerging products like email security and CTEM, while product revenue fell 14% because of softer firewall appliance demand and go-to-market disruption.
Q4 expected to rebound: Management said Q3 should be the trough, with stronger Q4 pipeline and a return to product revenue growth in the fourth quarter.
AI push: The company launched what it called the industry’s first AI network firewall and framed AI security as a major long-term opportunity.
Hiring surge: Check Point is hiring about 300 additional go-to-market employees, but management said that benefit will mostly show up in 2027, not 2026.
Outlook held: Full-year guidance was unchanged, while Q3 guidance called for revenue of $665 million to $685 million and non-GAAP EPS of $2.43 to $2.53.
