JD Health International Inc
JD Health International is an online healthcare and pharmacy company tied to JD.com’s e-commerce and logistics network. It sells prescription medicines, over-the-counter drugs, medical devices, personal care items, and other health products through its digital pharmacy and marketplace. It also offers online doctor consultations, chronic disease management, and health check services, making it a one-stop health platform for everyday medical needs. Its main customers are consumers who want to buy medicines and health products online, as well as people who need fast access to doctors and follow-up care without visiting a hospital for every issue. JD Health also works with pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, clinics, and doctors who use its platform to reach patients and distribute products. The company makes money mainly from product sales, service fees, and commissions or platform charges from partners selling through its channels. What makes JD Health different is that it sits between traditional healthcare and e-commerce. It combines drug distribution, online medical services, and logistics in one system, so customers can search, consult, order, and receive products through a single platform. That gives it a role not just as a retailer, but as a digital gateway for everyday healthcare access in China.

Revenue: JD Health said first-half 2026 revenue reached RMB 40.9 billion, with product revenue up 15.6% year over year and service revenue at RMB 7 billion.
Profitability: Non-IFRS operating income rose 40.3% year over year to RMB 3.5 billion, while non-IFRS operating margin improved by 1.5 percentage points to 8.5% for a ninth straight quarter of margin improvement.

Category mix: Pharmaceutical products remained a key growth engine, while nutrition and supplements were softer in the near term and medical devices were described as promising but growing somewhat slower than other segments in the second half.

Capital returns: The company repurchased shares worth HKD 840 million, canceled them all, and reiterated its plan to keep using buybacks alongside disciplined investment and a strong cash position.
