Schlumberger NV
Investor Relations

KI-Zusammenfassung
Q1 2026

Quarter hit by conflict: SLB said first-quarter results were weighed down by severe disruption in the Middle East, with revenue, earnings and margins all hurt by shutdowns, shut-ins and higher logistics and materials costs.

Revenue and EPS: First-quarter revenue was $8.7 billion, up 3% year on year, while adjusted EPS was $0.52, down $0.20 from a year ago.

Digital strength: Digital revenue rose 9% year on year, annual recurring revenue reached $1.02 billion, and management said the business is still on track to exit the year at a $1 billion run-rate and keep growing in 2027.

Production Recovery theme: Management argued the conflict and higher oil-price backdrop will support more investment in production recovery, offshore and deepwater projects, and broader upstream spending into 2027 and 2028.

Data Centers momentum: SLB said its Data Center Solutions business remains a bright spot, with 45% year-on-year growth and enough backlog to stay on track for a $1 billion run-rate by year-end.

Q2 cautious: SLB said it was too early to give precise second-quarter guidance, but under a scenario where Middle East disruption lasts until mid-quarter, the conflict could cut EPS by another $0.06 to $0.08 versus Q1.

Capital return intact: SLB kept its full-year capital investment target at about $2.5 billion and expects to return more than $4 billion to shareholders in 2026, including at least $2.4 billion of buybacks.
