Vodafone Idea Ltd
Vodafone Idea Ltd is an Indian telecom company that sells mobile phone and data services to consumers and businesses. It runs wireless networks and sells prepaid and postpaid plans, voice calling, internet access, roaming, and related mobile services through its own brand and retail channels. Its main customers are individual mobile users, families, small businesses, and larger enterprises that need connectivity for employees, branches, and devices. The company makes money mostly from monthly and usage-based telecom fees, plus business connectivity services and other network-related charges. What makes the business easy to understand is that it sits in the middle of the telecom value chain: it owns the customer relationship and the network access that people use every day. That makes it a utility-like service provider, where the core job is to keep people and companies connected and to earn recurring fees for that access.
