Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk PT
Telkom Indonesia is Indonesia’s largest telecommunications group and the country’s main fixed-line network operator. It sells mobile service through its stake in Telkomsel, plus home internet, fixed phone service, network links, and other telecom services that keep people and businesses connected. Its main customers are households, mobile users, companies, and government agencies across Indonesia. The company makes money by charging monthly fees, usage-based service charges, and contracts for business and wholesale network services. It also earns from internet access, digital platforms, data centers, and other services that sit on top of its network. In simple terms, Telkom is the backbone provider that moves voice, internet, and data traffic around the country. What makes Telkom different is its role as a national telecom utility with a very large fixed network and a major mobile business. That gives it a mix of consumer recurring revenue and enterprise network contracts, while also making it a key part of Indonesia’s communications infrastructure.
