Onespaworld Holdings Ltd
OneSpaWorld Holdings runs spa and wellness services for the travel and hospitality industry, especially on cruise ships and in resort settings. It staffs and manages spa operations, then sells treatments such as massages, facials, salon services, and fitness-related offerings to travelers who want premium personal care while they are away from home. The company makes money mainly by sharing in the spending that guests direct to these onboard and resort services. Its customers are the cruise lines and resort operators that outsource spa management, plus the end guests who buy the treatments and products. OneSpaWorld handles the people, training, equipment, and day-to-day service delivery, which lets its partners offer a full spa program without building that capability themselves. What makes this business different is that it sits inside the travel experience rather than a standalone storefront. Demand is tied to passenger traffic and guest spending, and the company’s value comes from turning empty space on ships and in resorts into a branded wellness business that can be run consistently across many locations.

Record quarter: OneSpaWorld said first quarter revenue and adjusted EBITDA both set new quarterly records, with revenue up 13% to $247.6 million and adjusted EBITDA up 21% to $32.2 million.
Guidance: Management raised the bar for the year and now expects 2026 revenue of $1.014 billion to $1.034 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $129 million to $139 million, both implying 9% growth at the midpoint.
New ship growth: The company launched wellness centers on two new ship builds in the quarter and said it remains on track to open centers on 6 new ship-builds this year.
Higher-value mix: Growth was driven by stronger medi-spa and other premium services such as IV therapy, acupuncture and newer technologies, which management said generated strong double-digit growth in the quarter.
AI rollout: The company is pushing AI tools into revenue management and operations, including a machine-learning engine on 190 vessels and an AI assistant on 191 vessels that resolves 94% of tickets.
Demand watch: Management acknowledged some softness and cancellations in North American-to-Europe cruising, but said that risk was already considered in guidance and that the business is insulated by a limited guest penetration rate and cruise lines’ ability to fill ships.
