GFT Technologies SE
GFT Technologies SE is a technology services company that helps banks, insurers, and other large businesses build and run software. It designs custom digital platforms, modernizes old IT systems, and supports cloud migration, data, and automation projects. In simple terms, GFT sells skilled engineering teams and software know-how rather than packaged products. Its main customers are financial institutions, especially banks and insurance companies, along with some industrial and public-sector clients. GFT usually earns money by charging for consulting, software development, system integration, and ongoing support work. Some projects are one-time build jobs, while others turn into longer service relationships that keep the company tied to a client’s core technology. What makes GFT’s business model different is its focus on the complex back end of digital finance, where reliability, security, and integration with legacy systems matter more than flashy consumer apps. The company sits between the client and the technology stack, helping organizations replace old systems without breaking daily operations. That makes GFT more of a specialist implementation partner than a software vendor selling a standard off-the-shelf product.

Solid quarter: GFT reported EUR 230 million in revenue, up 5% in constant currency, with adjusted EBT margin improving to 7.0% and EBT margin rising to 5.2%.
Guidance confirmed: Management reaffirmed full-year guidance for EUR 930 million in revenue, 7.6% adjusted EBT margin, and 6% EBT margin.
AI traction: Wynxx, the company’s Agentic AI platform, is now active in 11 countries and serving 105 clients, with EUR 104 million in contract value influenced, up 48% versus Q4.
Order book strong: Order backlog was up 11% year over year, helped by the new SAP deal from Megawork, which management said also extends the average duration of the order book.
Regional mix: Brazil, Colombia, and Spain were the main growth engines, while Germany, the U.K., Canada, and Mexico were weaker, in part because of client CIO changes and seasonal effects.
Margins and cash: Profitability improved on better personnel efficiency, lower lease and FX costs, and lower capacity adjustments; free cash flow adjusted improved sharply to roughly EUR 1 million and net debt fell to EUR 53.7 million negative.
