Extreme Networks Inc
Extreme Networks makes the equipment and software that connect business networks. It sells Wi‑Fi access points, Ethernet switches, network management software, and related services that help companies build and run local networks in offices, campuses, stadiums, schools, and other large sites. Its main customers are enterprises, schools, hospitals, hotels, sports venues, government groups, and the IT partners that install and support network gear. The company makes money by selling hardware, software licenses, subscriptions for network management, and support contracts that help customers keep their networks running and updated. What makes Extreme Networks different is that it sits in the middle of a company’s network, where reliability and easy management matter more than consumer brand appeal. It competes on how well its products work together and on software that lets customers monitor, secure, and control many network devices from one place.

Topline beat: Extreme reported Q3 revenue of $317 million, up 11% year over year, and said the result beat the high end of guidance. EPS was $0.26, also above the top end of guidance.
Margin recovery: Gross margin improved to 62.3%, helped by price increases, better cost discipline, and a smaller-than-expected drag from professional services projects.
SaaS momentum: SaaS ARR reached $236 million, up 29% year over year, as Platform ONE adoption accelerated and management said it is running ahead of plan.
Supply chain solved: Management said memory supply issues are now resolved for the near and long term, with committed supply through fiscal 2027 and into 2028.
Share gains: The company said it is taking share against Cisco and HPE Juniper, helped by its campus fabric, AI-powered automation, Wi-Fi 7, and simpler commercial terms.
Outlook raised/maintained: Fourth-quarter guidance calls for revenue of $330 million to $335 million and full-year FY26 revenue of $1.275 billion to $1.280 billion, implying 12% growth at the midpoint.
