Strong quarter: TE Connectivity reported second-quarter sales of over $4.7 billion, up 15% reported and 7% organically, with adjusted EPS of $2.73, up 24% year over year and above guidance.
Orders hit a record: Quarterly orders reached $5.3 billion, with a book-to-bill of 1.12, and management said order growth was broad-based across every business and region.
AI outlook improved: The company lifted its fiscal 2026 AI revenue view by about $150 million versus 90 days ago, with that increase expected entirely in the second half.
Margins stayed strong: Adjusted operating margin was 21.7%, up 130 basis points year over year, while management noted some inflation pressure from resins, freight and logistics.
Guidance points up: For the third quarter, TE guided to about $5 billion of sales and adjusted EPS of around $2.83, both implying continued year-over-year growth.
Capital returns: TE generated $1.3 billion of free cash flow in the first half, returned nearly 100% of it to shareholders year to date, and raised its quarterly dividend by 10%.
