Toyota Tsusho Corp
Toyota Tsusho is the trading and supply-chain arm of the Toyota group. It buys, sells, and moves a wide range of goods such as vehicles and parts, metals, chemicals, food, and industrial equipment. It also helps factories and carmakers source materials, manage logistics, and set up operations in overseas markets. Its main customers are automakers, manufacturers, distributors, and business buyers that need materials or finished products moved across borders. The company makes money by earning trading margins, logistics fees, and service income from handling procurement, transport, and related business support. In some areas it also takes part in industrial projects and joint ventures tied to its customer network. What makes Toyota Tsusho different is that it sits in the middle of many supply chains rather than making most of the end products itself. It uses its long relationships in the Toyota ecosystem and its global trading network to connect producers, transport goods, and coordinate complex flows of materials and parts. That gives it a role as a connector and organizer in industries that depend on steady supply and international trade.
