Inflection: BrightView said the quarter marked a key turning point, with Land Maintenance revenue rising 4% and management calling it the long-awaited inflection in organic growth.
Record profitability: The company posted record second-quarter adjusted EBITDA of $79 million with a record margin of 11.3%, helped by higher revenue, fleet and procurement efficiencies, and G&A savings.
Guidance raised: BrightView raised 2026 total revenue guidance and Land revenue guidance, while reaffirming full-year adjusted EBITDA of $363 million to $377 million and adjusted free cash flow of $100 million to $115 million.
Sales force push: Management said accelerated hiring of sellers is working and plans to keep investing about $6 million per quarter into sales force expansion.
Snow helped: Heavy snowfall was a major tailwind in the first half, with snow revenue up about $85 million, or 40%, versus last year and about $70 million above the original high end of guidance.
Fuel watch: Management warned that higher fuel costs could pressure the back half, but said it will rely on pricing, route density, lower fuel consumption and hedging rather than broad customer surcharges.
