Unity Software Inc
Unity Software sells software tools that let developers build, run, and manage interactive 2D and 3D content. Its best-known product is the Unity engine, which is used to create mobile games, PC and console games, and real-time graphics for other digital experiences. The company also sells add-on services for monetization, advertising, analytics, and cloud-based collaboration, which help creators distribute and improve their apps. Its main customers are game studios, independent developers, and larger companies that need real-time 3D content for training, simulation, automotive, architecture, and other industrial uses. Unity usually makes money by charging subscription fees for development tools and by taking a cut from advertising and monetization services inside apps and games. That gives it two linked revenue streams: software used before a product is launched and services used after it reaches users. What makes Unity different is that it sits at the center of the creation process rather than just the storefront or the hardware. Developers use Unity to build the content, then often stay inside Unity’s ecosystem for testing, analytics, advertising, and updates. That makes it a key infrastructure provider for interactive digital content, especially in mobile gaming and real-time 3D applications.
