Evolution AB (publ)
Evolution AB makes live casino games for online gambling companies. It runs studio-based blackjack, roulette, baccarat, and game-show style tables that are streamed in real time to players. The company also builds the software, video systems, and operating tools needed to run those games smoothly. Its main customers are online casinos and sportsbook platforms that want to offer live dealer content without building the studios themselves. Evolution usually makes money by charging its partners for access to its game content, often through a mix of usage-based fees and revenue-sharing deals. In practice, it sits between the casino operator and the player as a specialist supplier of the live game experience. What makes the business distinct is that it is not a consumer-facing casino brand. It sells the game content and the production layer behind it, which makes it an important upstream supplier in online gambling. Its value comes from owning the game designs, the streaming setup, and the live dealer operation that partner casinos rely on to keep players engaged.

Revenue: Q1 net revenue was EUR 513 million, down 1.5% year on year and essentially flat sequentially, with Europe weighing on the business while LatAm and North America remained strong.
Margins: EBITDA was EUR 335.3 million with a 65.4% margin, and management said the quarter showed the business model remains highly scalable despite regional weakness.
Europe: Europe was the main drag again, hurt by regulatory volatility, subjectivity in how rules are applied, and weakening channelization as players shift to unregulated operators.
Growth areas: North America and Latin America both hit all-time high revenues, with North America growing about 21% in U.S. dollars and LatAm described as being in full expansion mode.
Product pipeline: Management said the 2026 roadmap is starting to roll out, but the biggest game launches are still coming in the second half of the year, including more Monopoly titles and Game Night.
Capital return: The Board proposed no dividend for 2025, saying cash is better kept for long-term value creation, and no further capital allocation decisions for 2026 have been made yet.
Balance sheet: Cash generation remained strong, with operating cash flow after investments of EUR 311 million and cash of EUR 1.2 billion, while accounts receivable improved by about EUR 10 million in the quarter.
