Fomento Economico Mexicano SAB de CV
Investor Relations

OXXO Mexico: The flagship convenience business posted 8.3% revenue growth, 6% same-store sales growth and 20.9% operating income growth, with gross margin expanding 140 basis points to 46.2%.

Traffic: Management said traffic is still not where it wants it to be, but it improved meaningfully versus last year and outperformed the traditional trade despite February disruptions in parts of Mexico.

Portfolio: Management kept a simplification mindset, but said the biggest focus is still organic growth; Health in Mexico remains weak, while Colombia and other markets still have room to grow.

Outlook: Management was upbeat heading into the World Cup and the summer, but remained cautious about the second half because of a challenging and uncertain macro backdrop.
